Amazon Echo Dot 4 Pre-Order

We have previously written about Amazon Echo Dot 3 unboxing, We have not gotten a time time to write about its usage in detail. Now the all new Amazon Echo Dot 4 has been released and it is now can be pre-ordered.

Amazon Echo Dot is a smart speaker that is produced by Amazon. Echo Dot 4 is the fourth generation product.

Its appearance is quite different from Echo Dot 3. The Echo Dot 4 seems to be bigger and it has become a spherical shape. Echo Dot 3 is a pie shape.

Take a look below. This is what the Echo Dot 3 looks like. We bought the black one without a clock display. Echo Dot 4 has also two types with clock and without clock display.

The announcement date of the Echo Dot 4 is September 24, 2020. In Canada it will be officially launched on November 5, 2020. Pre-orders can be started now, and deliver will begin after November 5.

Since we can't see anything currently, we can only get the common information based on the official release information and instructions.

First lets look at the size, the diameter of the round surface on the top of the Echo Dot 3 is about 10 cm and the height is 4.5 cm. The size of the Echo Dot 4 is 10 cm in diameter and 9 cm in height.

The functions of Amazon Echo Dot 4 should include all the existing functions of Echo Dot 3, such as being able to listen to our commands, help us play popular songs, turn to radio stations, and be able to combine with other Amazon products to control the equipment; and also answer us some simple questions, such as what time is it or what is the weather; you can also set an alarm clock and reminder function; you can also make a call.

Echo Dot 4also has the following features:

• Dual-band wifi supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 and 5 GHz) networks.
• Does not support connecting to ad-hoc (or peer-to-peer) wifi networks.
• Wake word technology,
• streaming indicators,
• microphone off button,
• the ability to view and delete your voice recordings
